At Green Tech Communication & Networks, we develop web technology solutions with a focus on humans that incorporate efficiency, performance, and user-friendly designs. We’re looking for a front-end developer who can transform designs into clean code and create customer-centric experiences.

You will collaborate with the other dev team to identify customer/consumer requirements, design solutions, create website mockups and prototypes, show these prototypes to customers, develop and optimize live platforms. We seek a candidate who is agile, with good technical abilities and is not afraid to ask questions.

candidate must not only understanding how to code, but also why specific code line works are required. Experience with MVC designs, JavaScript, NuxtJS, VueJS, Vuetify, ReactJS, and working knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, TailwindCSS, GraphQLand CSS3, and seamlessly integrating front-end technologies like Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Git is helpful to succeeding quickly in this role.

Objectives of this Role

Regularly communicate with stakeholders, project managers, quality assurance teams, and other developers regarding progress on the long-term technology roadmap
Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and to ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs
Develop and oversee testing schedules in a client-server environment, addressing all browsers and devices issues to ensure various devices display the desired content
Produce quality code, raising the bar for the whole team on quality and speed
Recommend system solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile and analyze bottlenecks
Create design and user-focused experiences, and build personalized/customized features
Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud
Optimization of web applications for performance, stability, efficiency, and scalability
Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing

Required Skills and Qualifications

Computer science degree or equivalent experience
2+ years work experience as a Fullstack Engineer or Front-end Developer
Excellent foundation in AWS, JavaScript, NuxtJS, VueJS, Vuetify, ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3
Experience writing highly secure web applications
Experience with core AWS web-enabling technologies, Git, Linux, and Mac OS
Growth mindset, challenging status quo to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas
Experience with large e-commerce or site architecture a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using jQuery and consuming RESTful APIs, architectural patterns — MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture—and the ability to choose the best solution for the app
Experience working in teams and good project management skills
Author technical documentation
